UCC Norwell Youth Ministries: fostering fellowship, faith, and fun

High School Youth Group, Fall 2024

Are you a middle or high school student looking for a place to connect with peers, explore your faith, give back to the community, and have fun doing it? Look no further than the UCC Norwell Youth Ministries!

UCC Norwell offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of young people. Whether you're interested in weekly gatherings, confirmation classes, or a unique service project, there's something for everyone.

Youth ministries during worship

During the 10:00am worship service every Sunday, youth in grades 6 and 7 are welcome to join The Breakfast Club in the UCC Norwell library. Each week the group shares a delicious breakfast together and has meaningful discussions about faith, the scripture reading from the main bulletin, and life in general. Having fun is serious business at The Breakfast Club, so games are integral to our time together!

Weekly youth groups

The youth groups at UCC Norwell provide a welcoming space for middle and high school students to build friendships, participate in fun activities, and learn more about their faith. These groups meet every Sunday throughout the school year, offering a chance to connect with peers with similar values. The Middle School Youth Group gathers from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, while the High School Youth Group meets from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Both meet in the church youth room, best accessed from the rear entrance and parking lot.

Confirmation

UCC Norwell offers a confirmation program for students in grade 8. This program helps young people explore the Christian faith and make a conscious decision to follow Jesus Christ. The confirmation program is open to all students, regardless of UCC Norwell membership.
