Anne Marie Holloway

Anne Marie Holloway is a third-year student at Boston University School of Theology.  She is passionate about her call to ministry, the Church and her journey towards ordained ministry in the United Church of Christ. She is a native of the South Shore, growing up in South Weymouth and Graduating from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Adapted Physical Education and Psychology.

Anne Marie has spent the last two years on the administrative staff of the South Shore Congregational Youth Conference, in which she is a camp chaplain and oversees the planning of worship services for a Christian youth group camp that serves approximately 400 youth from the South Shore.

She has served as a youth minister for the last five years, developing and leading faith-filled, Jesus-focused youth programs for Bethany Congregational Church (UCC) in Foxboro and the Trinitarian Congregational Church (UCC) in Norton. Her background in Youth and Family Services stretches back to the 1990's where she was a Youth Advisor at her childhood church, Old South Union Church in South Weymouth. Anne Marie spent over fifteen years as a behavioral specialist/special educator for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in school districts ranging from Plymouth to East Brookfield Massachusetts.

Anne Marie's passion for Youth and Family Ministries has served as fuel for the Spirit as she continues to focus on her vocational goal of one day pastoring her own church. She has lead services at Old South Union in Weymouth throughout 2015/16, participated in worship/prayer services at Boston University and served as Auxiliary Pastor as she covered a Pastoral Sabbatical at the Rehoboth Congregational Church in June and July of this year.

Currently living in Norton, Massachusetts with her husband, Marc and their four children Lily (15), Colin (12), Faith (10) and Liam (8), Anne Marie is delighted to be joining UCC Norwell as Minister of Youth Education.
